Shapka Ushanka – Russian Winter Style

¬†Good day my dear friends ūüôā ¬†I hope everyone had a great weekend!

In  today’s  post  I  would  love  to  talk to  you  about an item   that  will help  you  to  stay  warm  on  a cold  winter day and make  you look  memorable and stylish. I am talking about traditional, stylish, Russian winter hat with ear flaps that can be tied together either above the hat crown or under the chin. This  hat  also known as Shapka-Ushanka, Aviator hats, Bomber hats, Trapper hats.

When choosing a hat like that, keep in mind few simple rules.

First of all, be very careful with this type of hat as they are  usually have big volume, especially if the hat made  of a faux fur, it can make you head visually look a little bigger. To minimize this effect I suggest to wear with the hat  like that a fitted coat or a jacket. Otherwise, you risk to visually look much bigger than you really are. If  you  tall or have a curvy  figure I advice you to stay away from  this  type  of  hat, but  if   you  really  want  to  try wearing  a hat like  that then try  to  choose  one  that  not   very big.

If  your  coat  or  a jacket  made  of  fur and  leather  it  will  look  great  if  your hat has the same combination.

Shapka  ushanka  is  a great  choice  for those who don’t  want  to  catch a cold  and  like  to  stay  warm even  in  a very  cold winter day.

Today’s look was inspired by the Russian style hat. I absolutely love this simple, easily  put  together but  yet  very cute outfit.
